Standard Images: (.gif, .jpg and animated .gif)
Your Remote Control website includes the ability to upload images from your PC directly to the specific page in your website where you want them to appear. These include the pages including the Banner, the Main Page, The Staff Page, the About Us page, the Newsletter Page, as well as the Photo Gallery, Forms Page, and the Services Page. The process is the same no matter to which page you are uploading your image.
Important: Before you attempt to upload any images to your website you must review Image Guidelines
Standard Images: You will see the Image Selector which shows the images already uploaded as well as the option to select a New image.
Select "New Image" by clicking with your mouse.
You will see a new mini-window appear. You can type in the exact path and file name of the image you wish to upload or click on the Browse Button.
Simply navigate to the location on you computer where you have placed the image you wish to upload and then click on the Open button.
Once the correct image has been selected, click on the Upload button. In a few seconds, you will see a message showing you your image has been successfully upload. Note: The time to upload an image will depend on the actual images file size as well as your interned connection speed. 14.4, 28.8, 33.6, 56k, ISDN, Cable, DSL, Etc. It can range from a few seconds to a couple of minutes. The maximum file size that can be uploaded is 200kb.
In order to actually see the true images, you will have to Update and then Publish. Some of the editor pages can preview the image, and others can only be viewed on the actual website after the publish process has taken place.
