(Additional information on Photo Vista Virtual Tour Products and
Software can be found on our
Useful
Products page)
Your Remote Control website supports hosting your Photo Vista virtual tour (panoramas) directly on your website. This means that you don't need a third party to host the pages that display your tours. This is an advantage to you because you have complete control over the placement of the tours, the information displayed with the tours, the length of time the tour are displayed, and of course cost, as there are no additional charges when you upload your tours to your Remote Control website.
Creating your Tour. You must first create the panorama using the software provided by Photo Vista. When creating your tour, make sure to select the correct options. (Exhibit A).
Exhibit A (Photo Vista Program)
Once you have stitched your Photo Vista panorama, you must select the correct options for saving your panorama. (Exhibit B).
Saving the tour. Save the tour to a place on your computer that you will be able to easily find later. (example: My Documents folder)
Naming the tour. It is very important that you name the tour is such a way that will help you to keep them organized. Also don't use capital letters or spaces when naming your tours. Use an underscore or a dash to separate words.
Correct naming example: main-street_back_yard.jpg
Incorrect naming example: Main Street Back Yard.JPG
NOTE: Once you have saved the panorama, you cannot simply re-name the file. It will not work on your web page. You will need to re-create the panorama.
Exhibit B (Photo Vista Program)After you have saved the panorama you will notice that two files were created, one that ends with .jpg, and another ending with .ivr. You will need both of there files later.
